Community Collections

Wiser Recycling specialises in reuse and recycling of unwanted electrical and electronic equipment including washing machines, fridges, computers, irons, kettles, DIY tools and entertainment systems. We provide free collections for local communities in partnership with parish and other local councils as well as schools in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and West Yorkshire making it easier for local residents to recycle their unwanted items.

Collecting directly from residents helps to ensure we can reuse as many items as possible as they are less likely to be damaged.  It benefits residents who don’t have to drive to recycling facilities, reducing their transport costs as well as carbon emissions.

We have worked with around 50 parish and local councils, and schools since 2013 and collected over 330 tonnes of unwanted electrical and electronic equipment.
