Our CRT (cathode ray tube) recycling plant uses innovative technology that enables us to recycle computer monitors and TV screens safely and cleanly.
The CRT plant uses an electrically charged hot wire band that is placed around the screen to separate the funnel (lead glass) from the panel (clear glass). The phosphor powder is removed from the panel by vacuum and sent for the recovery of rare earth elements. The clear glass is reused as aggregate. The funnel glass goes for further treatment to separate and recover the lead metal.
