Site Rules for Visitors and Contractors
As an operational recycling facility, we have a number of health and safety protocols in place. To ensure a safe and informative visit, please follow these site rules:
| Check-In and Orientation | All visitors must check in upon arrival and participate in a brief site orientation. You’ll be required to sign a form acknowledging our safety requirements. |
| Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) | Minimum PPE includes a high-visibility vest, safety boots, and safety glasses. Additional PPE, such as ear protection or respiratory equipment, may be necessary for certain areas. Follow the instructions of your site host. |
| No Unauthorised Access | Please remain in designated visitor areas unless accompanied by a staff member. Certain areas, like the lamp treatment and battery storage areas, are restricted to protect visitors from potential hazards. |
| Vehicle Movement | Be cautious of forklifts, silent electric trucks, and other moving vehicles. Use designated pedestrian pathways and make eye contact with drivers when crossing vehicle zones. |
| Environmental Safety | Do not place any materials in site drains, as they lead to surface water systems. Report any spills to your host immediately. |
| Emergency Procedures | In case of fire or other emergencies, follow the instructions provided during your induction. Familiarise yourself with the location of emergency exits and proceed to the muster point near the entry gate if alarms sound. |
| Smoking, Alcohol, and Drugs | Smoking, vaping, and alcohol are prohibited on site due to the handling of combustible materials. Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be required to leave immediately. |
| Equipment Usage | Visitors are not permitted to operate any site machinery or equipment. |
| Health and Safety Reporting | If you notice any unsafe conditions or witness an accident, inform your host or the Site Manager immediately. |
