Wiser Recycling has obtained ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 certification for its Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The environmental, quality and health & safety management system cover the full operations of the Huddersfield facility which include lamp recycling and CRT (cathode ray tube) recycling as well as reuse and recycling of other waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
The news follows the recent renewal of the rest of the Group’s management system certifications to 2022. The certification now incorporates all aspect of the Group’s operations including the environmental consultancy (Wiser Environment), environmental training provider and WAMITAB centre (Wiser Training) and both Wiser Recycling’s WEEE waste facilities (Thetford in Norfolk and Huddersfield in West Yorkshire).
